PUTNAM — Aug. 8, the Town of Putnam auctioned the following properties in Putnam to satisfy delinquent taxes and charges.
355 Kennedy Drive owned by Sarah Bates and/or the Estate of Susannah V. Bates was sold to Gilberto S. Nascimento of S. Grafton, Mass. for $35,000.
93-95 Front Street owned by Front Street Commons LLC was sold to Connecticut Preservation Trust of Putnam for $78,000.
96 Front Street owned by Front Street Commons LLC was sold to Valley Street Investments, LLC of Putnam for $200,000.
26 Sabin Street owned by Jeannette M. LaCroix was sold to Lewis E. Thomas III of Groton for $17,000.
59 Old Moffitt Road including portions formerly known as 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 20, 21, and 22 Pine Road owned by Unistar Properties LLC was sold to William Wolf Smith Northbridge, Mass. for $14,000.
According to Tax Collector Melissa Alden, the redemption period expires on Feb. 7, 2024. If redemption does not take place by the date stated and in the manner provided by law, the delinquent taxpayers, and all mortgagees, lienholders and other encumbrancers who have received actual or constructive notice of such sale as provided by law, are hereby notified that their respective titles, mortgages, liens, restraints on alienation and other encumbrances in such properties shall be extinguished.
