Celebrating
Peace Day
PUTNAM - The Greater Putnam Interfaith Council (GPIC) and community members gathered at the Daughters of the Holy Spirit offices Sept. 21 to celebrate International Peace Day.
Taking part in the ceremony were: Sister Michelle Basaillon, DHS provincial, Pam Rosenlund, Diane Cooney, Kathy Rowsell, Marge Guerin, Cheryl Kapelner Champ, Sister Bonnie Morrow, Sister Yvette Rainville, Rev. Ross Johnson, John Etheridge, and musicians Sally Rogers and Jim Starr.
The next GPIC event will be the annual Thanksgiving program.
