Another weekend, another collection of wins. Putnam Science Academy’s Esports Rocket League team had a successful weekend at the Nutmeg State Esports Games, held at Central Connecticut State, winning 35 individual matches and 12 series on its way to a second-place finish.
The foursome of Carson Sward, Gavin Lo Vasco, Kohen Yates, and Jonathan Galdamez entered the event, which was played in front of dozens of college coaches and recruiters, with a 282-3 overall record across five different leagues this year as they look to prepare themselves for the national championships to be held in Kansas City in June.
