Bridge surveying work is coming to Pomfret
POMFRET — Town officials announced there will be ongoing surveying on the Cotton Road Bridge, Bosworth Road Bridge and Day Road Bridge for the foreseeable future.
Various entities will be surveying for existing conditions, rights of way, archeological research, utilities, and bridge condition evaluations.
From 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. July 12 the bridge on Cotton Bridge Road over the Quinebaug River will be surveyed.
There will be traffic interruptions because the bridge is one lane.
Please avoid this area from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. July 12.
