PHS wins
PUTNAM --- Feb. 15 the Putnam High School girls' basketball team persevered and beat University 33-28.
Putnam struggled and trailed 14-10 at the end of three quarters to go ahead 26-23 with 4 seconds left and Ladona Quinn hit a three-pointer at the end of regulation to send the game to overtime. Putnam perservered and won the overtime 7-2 to come out with a 33-28 victory. Putnam was lead by Monica Phongsa with 10 and Sierra Roireau with 9. Putnam improved to 14-5 and University fell to 9-10.
