The American Truck Historical Society, The Nutmeg Chapter, provided a donation in the amount of $750 to The Arc Quinebaug Valley.
Annually, the State Chapter of the American Truck Historical Society conducts a field show of historic vehicles at the Brooklyn Fair Grounds which is open to the public.
Due to this event, the general membership of the Nutmeg Chapter voted at its Annual Meeting to donate funds to The Arc in recognition of The Arc’s long history of service work to the residents in the community.
The American Truck Historical Society has continuously been supportive and dedicated to The Arc’s mission.
“We are very thankful for this donation and appreciate their generosity and kindness.” said Susan Desrosiers, executive director of The Arc Quinebaug Valley.
This gift will help to enhance services provided by The Arc for individuals with intellectual, developmental, and other life-affecting disabilities.
