The 2,500-gallon fuel oil tank at the Putnam Post Office was removed last week. There were no leaks. The Post Office is switching to natural gas. Linda Lemmon photo.

PUTNAM — The Lady Mustangs improved to 11-8 on the year with a 114-55 victory over Redemption Christian Academy Jan. 24. Fatima Lee tied her career high with 30 points to go along with 5 rebounds and 4 steals. Niya Fields added 20 points and 5 assists while Aiste Vaitekunaite contributed 18 points and 9 rebounds.

PUTNAM — In front of a huge crowd Jan. 26 the Lady Mustangs come out strong and never looked back, taking home a 76-57 victory over St. Andrew’s School. Leading the way for PSA was Sharaya Haines and Kayla Robinson who both scored 16 points. Niya Fields and Fatima Lee both had 11 points and 5 rebounds as well.

Durham Elite 35
BRONX, N.Y. — The Lady Mustangs captures their 3rd victory in a row Jan. 27 as they went down to “The Mecca” in the Bronx and defeated Durham Elite 42-35. Kayla Robinson took home MVP honors with a 15 point performances. Towson commit Aislinn Flynn had a strong game after missing a month with 9 points and 7 rebounds. The Lady Mustangs improve to 12-8 on the season.
