No. 1
Notice of Annual
Meeting
The electors of East Putnam Fire District and those qualified to vote in meetings of said District are hereby warned that the Annual Meeting of said District will be held Tuesday, May 18, 2010 at 7:00 o’clock in the evening at the East Putnam Fire Station, located on Route 44 in East Putnam for the following purposes:
1) To elect Officers and Directors of said District for the ensuing year.
2) To authorize the Directors of East Putnam Fire District No. 1 to transfer funds from one budget item to another for the fiscal year 2010 - 2011,
3) To authorize and empower the Directors of East Putnam Fire District No. 1 to fill any vacancy among the Officers or Directors of said District, to serve until the next Annual Meeting.
4) To transfer surplus money to the Reserve Fund for Capital and Nonrecurring expenditures.
5) To adopt the Annual Budget, Lay the Tax and Fix the Tax Rate for said District. Dated at Putnam, Connecticut this 22nd day of April, 2010.

Public Hearing
MAY 10, 2010
Pursuant to the provisions of the Putnam Town Charter, the Board of Selectmen of the Town of Putnam will hold a public hearing on Monday, May 10, 2010, at 7:00 p.m. in the auditorium of the Putnam Middle School, 33 Wicker Street, Putnam, Connecticut, on a proposed revised Code of Ethics for the Town of Putnam.
All persons who wish to speak on the proposed revisions to the Code of Ethics or who may wish to recommend consideration by the governing officials of additional items or the rejection of items will be heard.
Copies of the proposed Revised Code of Ethics will be available in the Mayor’s Office, Town Clerk’s Office, and the Library on Monday, May 3, 2010.
