PUTNAM --- Every year, Putnam Bank hosts a special employee recognition dinner to thank and honor the hard work and dedication of its employees. This year’s dinner was given the theme “Night of Stars” and served to honor two special stars in particular: Pat Kovacik who was awarded the Putnam Bank Spirit Award and Sandy Maciag, who won the Chairman’s Award.
Pat and Sandy were not alone in being honored for their achievements. Also recognized was this year’s Putnam Bank Salesperson of the year, Griswold Branch Manager, Brenda Engel.
Milestone employee anniversaries were also acknowledged at the dinner. Angie Newton, Kathi Gasiorek, Ray Perry, Pauline Audette, Robert Halloran, Jonathan Demers and Kelsey Shaver have all achieved five years of service to Putnam Bank. Linda Brule and Kathy Payne have each reached ten years of service. Mel Belleville has given 20 years of service to Putnam Bank. Dot Trama has worked with Putnam Bank for the past 25 years and Maggie Bond has been working with the Putnam Bank family for 35 years.
Putnam Bank Chairman and CEO Thomas A. Borner thanked all of Putnam Bank’s employees, saying: “You are all shining stars. Thank you to those of you who provide exceptional front line customer service and to those of you who work diligently behind the scenes to ensure the smooth operation of our bank. Your exemplary service is the reason for the continuing success of Putnam Bank, and your efforts ensure our 148-year tradition of strength and stability.
