Bank officer
is promoted
JEWETT CITY --- Kevin C. Merchant, president and CEO of Jewett City Savings Bank, has announced the promotion of Katherine E. Quackenbush to the position of human resources officer.
She replaces Shirley Pierce, who recently retired after 42 years at the bank.
Quackenbush joined the bank in 2007, and served as a teller and customer service representative prior to her most recent position as human resources assistant.
A Plainfield resident, she holds a bachelor’s degree from Grove City College in Pennsylvania.
Jewett City Savings Bank is a mutual savings bank.
It operates full-service offices in Jewett City, Brooklyn, Dayville, Central Village and Preston, with online banking services.
