PUTNAM — Day Kimball Healthcare announces that Theresa Bordua, financial advocate in the Patient Accounts Department, is Day Kimball Hospital’s September Employee of the Month.
“I am very grateful to receive this honor,” said Bordua. “My job is very rewarding because I get to help people who need assistance in hospital billing matters.”
Bordua joined the organization three years ago and is a financial advocate in the patient accounts department at Day Kimball Hospital. She assists patients with free care/SAGA applications and other billing issues. The departments she services include obstetrics, behavioral health and the emergency department. Prior to Day Kimball Healthcare, Bordua worked with disabled individuals as a support person in group homes for nearly 20 years.
Living in Thompson with her husband and three children, Bordua enjoys spending time with her family, attending her children’s soccer games and being outdoors. She and her husband just celebrated their 20th wedding anniversary.
