Control Authority
The October 2010 billing of water and / or sewer collections for the Town of Putnam WPCA is due and payable on October 1, 2010 through November 1, 2010.
Payments made after November 1, 2010 will be subject to an Interest charge of 3% (1.5% per month) or $2.00 minimum whichever is higher, according to Connecticut State Statute SEC.

Mail must be postmarked no later than November 1, 2010 to avoid interest charges.

The Town of Putnam Zoning Board of Appeals held meetings on September 21 and 28, 2010, at 7:00 P.M. at the Town Hall located at 126 Church Street, Putnam, CT. The following action was taken:
Appeal # 2010 -06: Lee T. Post — Request for a variance according to Section 730 of the Town of Putnam Regulations from the required 20’ side yard setback to 6’ for a proposed addition. Property located at 203 Park Street, Town Assessor’s Map 114, Lot 39-01. Zoned C-1. APPROVED.
Appeal # 2010-07: Anna J. Sekula — Request for a variance according to Section 730 of the Town of Putnam Zoning Regulations from the required 20’ side yard setback to 11’ 8 for a proposed addition. Property located at 261 South Main Street. Town Assessor’s Map 20, Lot 95. Zoned R-10. APPROVED.
