WOODSTOCK — Woodstock Academy’s Student Council recently hosted its traditional Fall Foliage Fling for more than 140 senior citizens.
The event was free and open to local residents.
Student Council Adviser Nancy Beauregard-Waldron and committee chairpersons Senior Anne Spada and Junior Bridgett Lajoie oversaw the event details.
The event started in 1994.
Senior Katie Murphy from Woodstock Academy’s Hill Singers opened the days entertainment as she performed several classic songs from the 1920s.
Songs included “Moon Dance” and “Funny Valentine.” Country Duo from Coventry provided additional entertainment.
