BROOKLYN --- Eight local senior class students who are outstanding examples of dependability, service, leadership, and patriotism were honored as Good Citizens at a recent meeting of the Sarah Williams Danielson Chapter DAR.
The meeting took place at the historic Palmer Homestead on Wolf Den Road. Students and their guests were treated to a cookie buffet and to a special “Titanic Exploration” re-enactment and display presented by Ernie and Anita Eldridge.
DAR Good Citizen certificates and pins were presented to Emma Kearns, Brooklyn Learning Clinic; Benjamin Barbeau, Harvard H. Ellis Technical High School; Patrick McGuire, Hyde School; Katelyn Morrissette, Killingly High School; Erin Attella, Plainfield High School; Erin Konicki, Putnam High School; Stephanie Vogel, Tourtellotte Memorial High School; and Annaleise Peterson, Woodstock Academy.
