Richard Telford’s Theatre Workshop and senior Shakespeare elective students at Woodstock Academy pose with performers from Shakespeare and Company. The academy’s English department recently welcomed Shakespeare and Company for a day of classical theater. The company offers an educational experience using an innovative and interactive style. Students from Richard Telford’s theater workshop took part and discussed with the company works of William Shakespeare, his use of language, and how to bring his classic works alive on stage. The performers also shared their educational background. The finale of the day was a 90-minute production of “Hamlet.”
