Shoot-out is March 23
PUTNAM --- The annual Putnam Rotary Club Ray Brousseau All Star Basketball Shoot-out will be held March 23 at Putnam High.
It's open to all high school senior basketball athletes. The girls play at 6 p.m. and the boys start at 7:30 p.m.
School taking part include: Plainfield, Killingly, Ellis Tech, Griswold Putnam, Tourtellotte, Woodstock, Marianapolis, Hyde, Pomfret Prep, Parish Hill and Windham Tech. There are door prizes and shoot-out prizes. The cost is $3 for adults; $1 for students and seniors. Sponsors include: WINY-1350 AM, Benpe Sales and Consulting, LLC., Byrnes Agency, Inc., The Center for Bone & Joint Care, The Citizens National Bank and Leschke-Puffer Insurance Agency.
