POMFRET CENTER — Michael and Christine Beausoleil of Pomfret Center are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Megan Lynne Beausoleil, to David Hiram Haggett, son of David and Lesa Haggett Jr. of Sterling.
The bride-to-be graduated from Woodstock Academy and earned her bachelor’s degree in nursing from Fitchburg State College in 2007.
She is a registered nurse at Hartford Hospital, specializing in arrhythmia and telemetry.
The groom-to-be is a graduate of Woodstock Academy and the Baron Institute of Technology in Windsor.
He is an account sales associate for Verizon Wireless.
He is pursuing his certification in Health and Fitness Training.
The couple, together with their families and friends, look forward to a wedding celebration at the Wychmere Harbor Yacht Club in Harwich Port, Mass., Aug. 19, 2011.
