'Cratchit' fund-raiser
PUTNAM — In conjunction with its holiday show, “A Christmas Carol: Scrooge and Marley,” the Bradley Playhouse, in partnership with J.D. Coopers Restaurant, is providing a chance to have a great breakfast and help those in need. From 9 a.m. to noon Dec. 1 at J.D. Coopers at 146 Park Road,you can have Breakfast with the Cratchits. The menu includes waffles, pancakes, sausage, bacon, orange juice, tea, coffee and milk. The cost is $5 per person and all proceeds will benefit local food banks. They will also be accepting donations of nonperishable food items. Actors from the Bradley Playhouse’s production of “A Christmas Carol: Scrooge and Marley” will be at the breakfast and you are encouraged to bring your camera and have photos taken with the cast.
