Leslie Prunier, center, is presented with a Putnam Board of Education Pride of Putnam Award at a recent board meeting by PHS Principal Joseph Ptaszynski and Board of Education member Jeanie Dodd. Prunier was nominated for the award for receiving a Commendation from the National Merit Scholarship Organization for her score on the PSAT exam along with scoring a perfect score on the SAT II Chemistry Test.
