Art Exhibit
POMFRET --- The Connecticut Audubon Society at Pomfret Center will present a watercolor exhibition by David Stumpo, "Birds, Fluff and Circumstance," through Jan. 9. Free. Percentage of proceeds benefit the Center. 928-4948.

Christmas Eve
 PUTNAM --- The Living Faith United Methodist Church (formerly the United Methodist Churches of Putnam and N.  Grosvenordale) will hold its Christmas Eve service at 5 p.m. (especially for families, but all are welcome) and again at 11 p.m. with service of Lessons and Carols  at the church on Grove Street.

Lessons, Carols
THOMPSON --- A Family Service of Lessons and Carols will be held at 7 p.m. at Thompson Congregational Church. There will be special music by Ted Reynolds and Kaitlin Mass. This beautiful service will be followed by a time of fellowship and refreshments of home-made Christmas cookies, cider and coffee. All welcome!

Blood Drive
PUTNAM --- The American Red Cross will host a blood drive at Day Kimball Hospital from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. in the RH Field  Conference Center. Come in through the rear lab entrance. To register for an appointment to give blood, call 1-800-448-3543.

HAMPTON --- The Connecticut Audubon Society at Pomfret Center will present a New Year's Day Walk at 10 a.m. at the Trail Wood Sanctuary on Kenyon Road. Free. 928-4948.

POMFRET --- The Pomfret Seniors Association will have a brown bag luncheon meeting at noon at the Pomfret Senior Center on Mashamoquet road. All Pomfret seniors welcome. 974-0426.

Bonfire
N. GROSVENORDALE --- The Thompson Recreation Dept. will host the annual Bonfire from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at Phelps Pond off Main Street. Bring skates, marshmallows. Music, cocoa and baked goods.
