Still Shining
Alexis Yetna, a 6-8 freshmen at the University of South Florida, is continuing to shine for the Bulls. The PSA alum helped lead USF passed Florida A&M 69-59 last week as the Bulls are now 4-2 on the season. Yetna led USF with 15 points and 10 rebounds recording his 2nd straight double-double while also showing up big even in a loss to Georgetown with 11 points and a career high 17 rebounds. The forward from Paris, France, totaled 391 points in his time at PSA and helped lead the Mustangs to the 2017 National Final Four with a 34-7 record, well enough for #4 in the country. “No surprise what Alexis is doing in the college ranks” said PSA Head Coach Tom Espinosa. “He is the best rebounder is PSA basketball history. His motor and heart are like no other player I have coached before.” Yetna currently is 3rd on USF with 9.2 points per game and he leads the team in rebounding by a wide margin with 9.2 rebounds per game and a total of 55 rebounds in 6 games.
