Sculpture Affair
PUTNAM --- The Town of Putnam, in partnership with the Putnam Arts Council, will host the “Sculpture Affair” around downtown Putnam and the walking trail until Sept. 4. More than 20 Dale Rogers sculptures will be shown. N. STONINGTON --- The Northeastern Connecticut Chamber of Commerce’s 32nd Annual Golf Invitational will begin with a shotgun start at 11:30 a.m. at Lake of Isles. $150/person; $600/team.

Prayer Service
PUTNAM ---The Cargill Council 64, Knights of Columbus will hold a short outdoor memorial prayer service to celebrate the 128th anniversary and on behalf of deceased Knights and their families, at 11 a.m. in St. Mary’s Cemetery.

Blood Drive
PUTNAM --- The American Red Cross and the Cargill Council 64, Knights of Columbus will hold a blood drive from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. in the basement of St. Mary’s Church. COVID virus antibody testing will be done for every donor. All donors must wear a mask, but any donor without one will be given a free mask. 1-800-733-2767.
