POMFRET --- A retro art exhibit highlighting recycled and repurposed elements, "Flower Power: A Retro Art Exhibition," will be held from May 17 through June 23 at Celebrations Gallery & Shoppes on Rt. 169.
Fun Runs
W. THOMPSON --- The West Thompson Dam Fun Run starts on May 15 and runs through Sept. 18. The runs, which start at 6:15 p.m., are held on Wednesdays at the West Thompson Dam Entrance on Ravenelle Road. Distance is 3.1 and 1.44 miles. The Fun Run or walk is free and is open to everyone. Trail Days
THOMPSON --- The Thompson Trails Committee and Thompson Recreation will host a Connecticut Trails Day Hike from 9 to 11 a.m., rain or shine, starting from the gazebo in Riverside Park. Easy 3.2 mile walk is on flat, handicap-accessible surface wandering through a historic mill village. Free. All welcome. Leashed dogs also welcome. 923-944.

Open House
POMFRET --- The Windham-Tolland 4-H Camp Open House for kids camp will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. June 1 and June 2 at 326 Taft Pond Road. From 1:30 to 2 p.m. June 1 there will be an informational Parent Panel on the benefits of Windham-Tolland 4-H Camp for kids.

Tag Sale
THOMPSON --- Thompson Together and Thompson Recreation host the 2nd annual Town-wide Yard Sale. Rain date June 8. All Thompson residents, businesses & organizations are welcome to participate. There is a $10 registration fee to place your tag sale location on the map. Map registration deadline May 24.

WOODSTOCK --- Connecticut Open House Day Farm Tour from 1 to 3 p.m. at Fairview Farm on Rt. 171. Take a wagon ride to tour the dairy barn, learn all about what a cow eats in a day, visit the “milking parlor” where 40 cows at a time are milked, and see the big tractors that work the land.
