The East Putnam Fire Department recently hosted an extrication class teaching members from East Putnam, Putnam and Community Fire departments advanced and new extrication techniques with the “Jaws of Life.” The class was instructed by Shipman’s Fire Equipment. Some 30 students participated. Class work was held at East Putnam Fire Dept. with the hands-on extrication taking place at Ross’s, according to East Putnam Fire Chief Abram L. Walker. Courtesy photo.
