PUTNAM — The Putnam Saturday Farmers’ Market (PSFM) is holding an Artisan Day from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. July 20 at the Putnam Riverview Marketplace on Kennedy Drive.
The Market’s regular farmers will also be there to sell an increasing variety of summer produce.
This month’s Artisan Day will be featuring two PSFM favorites – Aspinock Spring Pottery and Mon Chi Tree – as well as a spinning demonstration and the sale of some handmade wool and other fiber items by Martha’s Fiber Friends.
Aspinock Spring Pottery sells hand-thrown pieces of pottery from bowls to teapots to vases to whimsical – but incredibly useful – pie birds.
This year Aspinock Spring is also featuring its own fused glass jewelry and bowls.
Mon Chi Tree carries nature-inspired jewelry and home décor.
Their home décor items include hand-painted beach stones, wine stoppers and more.
The PSFM will be holding Artisan Days again on Aug. 17 and Sept. 21.
If you are a Connecticut-based artists or crafter who would like to participate in the Market, please download the application from the PSFM website or email the PSFM at This email address is being protected from spambots.
