Fun Run

W. THOMPSON --- The West Thompson Dam Fun Run has started and will run through Sept. 17 on Wednesdays starting at the West Thompson Dam entrance on Ravenelle Road. Art Exhibit

POMFRET --- The Connecticut Audubon Society Center at Pomfret will present "Air and Water, Space and Time," a drawings exhibit by George Jacobi, through Aug. 15 at the Grassland Bird Conservation Center on Day Road. Portion of the sales benefits the center. 928-4948.

PUTNAM --- the Hope Community Church's Annual Clothing Give Away will from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the church, 25 Kennedy Drive. They will also be giving away school supplies while they last.

THOMPSON --- Phillip “Firewalker” Pollier will present Native American Storytelling from 5 to 6  p.m. Aug. 16, and 23 at Phelp’s Pond on Main Street. Also crafts. All welcome.
