celebrate 

60th anniversary

 WOODSTOCK — Mr. and Mrs. Henry Doughty celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on Aug. 9 with a garden party.  Their three children and four grandchildren organized an open house buffet for friends and family, and the backyard was filled with laughter and story-telling throughout the afternoon. 

Ruth and Henry met at Providence Bible Institute 62 years ago, and a love match was made on their first date on the tennis court  The Doughtys came to Woodstock in 1957 and quickly embraced the Quiet Corner’s rural charm.

They value the amazing friendships they have made throughout the years and will treasure the memories from this wonderful day.
