Race Fund-raiser
POMFRET --- The Abolish Breast Cancer 5K Race/Walk will begin with registration at 7:30 a.m. at the Pomfret Recreation Park. The race starts at 9:30 and the walk at 9:01. Call to register: 974-1202.
Bradley Auditions

Woodland Event
POMFRET --- The Friends of Pomfret Public Library will hold a Woodland Fairy Walk from 10 to 11:30 a.m. at the library on Pomfret Street. Make a fairy house, have your face painted, make a nature collage. Optional 1.5-mile scavenger checklist woodland walk on Pomfret School woodland. No admission fee.
Fall Fest
WOODSTOCK VALLEY --- YMCA Camp Woodstock is hosting a Fall Harvest Festival from 4 to 8 p.m. at the camp on Camp Road. , Activities, music, arts and crafts, live music and food. Ends with classic campfire. $10 per person; kids under 5 admitted free. 860 974-1336.

PUTNAM --- The Putnam Lions will present its "Fall Classic" Bicycle Ride to benefit the Putnam Lions Charities, starting from the Riverview Marketplace Pavilion off Kennedy Drive.
