POMFRET --- The Wreaths Across America Pomfret Ceremony will be held at noon at the Pomfret Town Green Monument. All welcome. 

 

Family Skate

POMFRET --- The Pomfret Recreation Dept. sponsors  Family Fun Night at the ice rink from 6:30 to 8 p.m. the Pomfret School Ice Rink. Games on the ice led by professional skaters, holiday music, prizes, hot chocolate and a visit from Santa Claus! $3 for kids; $4 for adults.  860-974-1423.

BROOKLYN --- A Lovefeast in the Moravian Tradition will be held at 7:30 p.m. at the Federated Church of Christ on Hartford  Road. All welcome. 

 

Candlelight Service

POMFRET --- Pomfret School will present a candlelight service, an Evening of Lessons and Carols featuring the Pomfret School Chorus and GriffTones at 7 p.m. in the Clark Memorial Chapel at the school. Refreshments follow in Common Room of the Main House. Parking available across the street from the chapel. Free. All welcome.

 

Christmas Event

BROOKLYN --- The St. John Lutheran Church on Providence Road will present “the Miracle of Jesus: A Christmas Event for Families,” from 2 to 4 p.m. There is a live Nativity and a Bethlehem marketplace and more. WOODSTOCK --- The First Congregational Church UCC on Rt. 169 will present “Scrooge’s Christmas” at 4 p.m. Freewill offering proceeds will go to the Pomfret Congregational church rebuilding fund.
