DANIELSON — Westview Health Care Center of Dayville has named Assistant Director of Therapeutic Recreation Vicki Ericson its January Employee of The Month. She has been employed at Westview since March 2014. 

Ericson graduated from Eastern Connecticut State University where she had a double major and earned her bachelor’s degree in early childhood education and psychology. She is a State of Connecticut Certified teacher and is currently taking classes to become a Certified Recreation Therapist at Manchester Community College.

Vicki credits her cohesive family unit to an old-schooled upbringing that she and her husband experienced as children. 

She states that they place emphasis on their family sitting down at the kitchen table for most evening meals for good food and conversation.
