Appointed

CorePlus Federal Credit Union, headquartered in Norwich with branches in the northeast corner, appointed Credit Union Member  Selma Ward, MBA,  to its Supervisory Committee. 

She is controller at The Rectory School in Pomfret and has extensive experience in audit preparation, budget management and financial reporting.  Ward is active in community volunteer efforts, serving on the Habitat for Humanity Finance Committee, and as treasurer of the Academy of the Holy Family PTSO. She lives in Sprague. 

The Credit Union’s Supervisory Committee works to insure that internal controls are maintained to protect the Credit Union and its Members, and that the accounting records are promptly prepared to accurately reflect credit union operations. William Poirier of Danielson is the chairman of the Supervisory Committee.
