BROOKLYN — A Brooklyn man was arrested on drug charges Nov. 9 after his vehicle was stopped on Rt. 6.
David Leach, 28, of Mason Road, was charged with possession of heroin and possession of heroin with intent to sell.
Members of the Troop D – Quality of Life Task Force were patrolling Rt. 6 and stopped a white Buick Reatta after seeing a traffic violation. Leach gave consent to have the car searched and K-9 Dodie, a Labrador Retriever trained in narcotic detection, found 50 bags of heroin hidden in a natural void under the center console/gear shift area.
