Officers elected
WOODSTOCK — The members of the Bungay Fire Brigade recently held their Annual Meeting and elected Officers for 2016. Fire Chief Roy Chandler thanked all of the Brigade members for their dedication and service during the past year. Brigade volunteers responded to 200 emergency calls, including 107 medical calls, 20 motor vehicle accidents, and 10 structure fires. The Brigade provided mutual aid assistance 34 times to neighboring towns and to the other Woodstock fire districts. Bungay Fire Brigade members collectively contributed more than 12,000 volunteer hours in responding to calls, participating in training and drills, maintaining the Brigade’s equipment, overseeing construction of a major building addition, and representing the Brigade throughout the region in parades and other community events.
The following officers have been elected or appointed for 2016: Fire Chief – Roy Chandler; Deputy Chief & Safety Officer - Josh Bottone; Fire Captain – Adam Bottone; EMS/Rescue Captain – Dave Elliott; Chief Engineer Captain - Steve Froehlich; Lieutenants – Mike Froehlich, Carlton Rondeau, and Nick Webster; President – Linda Lewandowski; Vice President – Rob Wrobel; Secretary - Lois Bruinooge; Treasurer – Deb Hervieux; Plant Engineer – Mike Charette; Board Member at Large – Seth Bottone; Woodstock Fire Protection Association Members – Nick Webster, Deb Hervieux, Dave Elliott, and Josh Bottone; Brigade Auditors – Dave Hosmer and Joe Surozenski; and Nominating Committee Members – Rob Wrobel, Carlton Rondeau, and Dave Elliott.
