KILLINGLY — A Killingly man was arrested on crack cocaine charges Dec. 29 in Killingly
James Blakley, 46, of Maple Street, was charged with possession of crack cocaine.
Troopers assigned to the Troop D Quality of Life Task Force were conducting surveillance of  Mechanic Street in Danielson after citizens expressed concern over the increased narcotic dealing on Mechanic Street.  Troopers observed a hand to hand drug transaction take place on the corner of Mechanic Street and Oak Street.  Troopers caught up to one of the individuals involved in the transaction before he departed the area. Blakley was found to be in possession of crack cocaine that was pre-packaged for street sales.
