Forum set

DANIELSON — The Northeast Communities Against Substance Abuse will be hosting a community forum, “Opiate Abuse and Community Solutions,” from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. March 9 in the QVCC Auditorium on Upper Maple Street.

There will be a panel presentation to include the Commissioner of the CT Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services, treatment providers, prevention providers, police, and medical professionals. The panel will discuss the depth of the current situation with opioids in northeastern Connecticut, as well as potential solution based outcomes.
