WILLIMANTIC — The Eastern Connecticut State University Warriors recently named 15 students to the 2017-18 women’s volleyball team.
Among the athletes is Jacquelyn Orlowski ’19 of Woodstock. Orlowski majors in elementary education and her position on the team is middle hitter.

WILLIMANTIC — The Warriors at Eastern Connecticut State University named 13 students to the 2017-18 women’s cross country team.
Among the student athletes are: Shai-Lin Gothreau ’21 of Woodstock, who majors in criminology and sociology. “I decided to do cross country last minute in college because I love the sport,” said Gothreau. “The team and coaches have been so supportive and I am excited to see what’s in store for me this year. My goal is to get a personal record this season.”
Also on the team is Sylvia Lawrence ’21 of Woodstock, who majors in Pre-Social Work.

WILLIMANTIC — The Eastern Connecticut State University Warriors recently named 27 students to the 2017-18 women’s soccer team including: Natalie Hawes ’21 of Danielson. Hawes’s major is health sciences and her position on the team is midfield.

NEW LONDON, N.H. — Megan Pickett completed Colby-Sawyer’s internship requirement with Colby-Sawyer’s Humanities Department. Pickett, of Pomfret Center, is a member of the class of 2018 majoring in English.

NEWTON, Mass. — Arber Isufi of N. Grosvenordale is part of the newest group of students at Lasell College. Arber joins us as a graduate from Marianapolis Preparatory School. New students have had the opportunity to participate in Lasell Laser Welcome Weekend, a Connected Learning Convocation, Study Abroad Fair and Student Activities Fair, where over 60 clubs and organizations shared options to become further involved on campus.
