Acorn Adventure
ASHFORD --- Acorn Adventure – Pixie Village Hike will be held at 10 a.m. at the Natchaug State Forest Parking Area on Iron Mine Lane, off Rt. 89. Half mile hike with The Last Green Valley’s Chief Ranger Bill Reid into Pixie Falls. This hike is suitable for little legs who can make it a half-mile into the falls and then back out. ‘Animals” Event
PUTNAM --- Tractor Supply Company in Putnam will host pet adoptions, a pet supplies drive and more. The store is accepting new sealed food, toys, cleaning supplies and other essential pet accessories such as beds, scratching posts, leashes and bowls to be donated to Putnam rescues and shelters.

Tastes of the Valley
STURBRIDGE --- The Last Green Valley’s Tastes of the Valley fund-raiser will begin at 4 p.m. at The Publick House, Sturbridge. The evening starts with a social hour featuring local wines, beers and beverages, as well as appetizers prepared by area chefs utilizing products farmed in the 35 towns of The Last Green Valley National Heritage Corridor.
