Beam Signing
Putnam town officials and members of the Municipal Complex building committee signed the last beam Sept. 11. A representative of Downes Construction Co. LLC said the paint pen used will "outlive us". Town Administrator Elaine Sistare added this to the beam: "Thank you to the townspeople for your support! See you inside soon!" The project is on time and under budget and is due to be finished in September 2021. The beam was placed to the right of the two-story main entrance.
