Joan Cimochowski
WOODSTOCK VALLEY — Joan Cimochowski died March 13, 2021, at home. Joan was born Oct. 15, 1944, in Putnam, the third child of John and Veronica (Dudek) Cimochowski.
She was a graduate of Killingly High School, Class of 1962 and entered the business world at Hale Manufacturing. She retired from R.S. Hicks Realty and Properties, Inc., as an accounting specialist.
Joan was a member of the Connecticut Audubon Society at Pomfret Center. Her hobbies included bird watching, photography, gardening, traveling, reading, going to the beach, along with visiting and collecting lighthouse memorabilia.
She leaves her companion, Kathleen Gothreau of Woodstock Valley; sisters, Rose Bosquet (Bruce) of Moosup and Valeria Cooke of Dayville; a brother, John Cimochowski (Suzanne) of Woodstock; nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents and a brother-in-law, Wallace F. Cooke.
