WARNING OF ELECTION
November 7, 2023
The Electors of the Town of Putnam are hereby warned to meet at their respective polling place in said town on Tuesday, November 7, 2023, between the hours of 6:00 am and 8:00 pm for the following purposes:
To cast their vote for Mayor, Board of Selectmen, Board of Finance, Board of Finance Alternate, Board of Education, Board of Education (2-year vacancy), Board of Assessment Appeals, Library Trustee, and District Authority.
Notice is hereby given that the location of the polling place is as follows for District #1 & #2: Putnam Municipal Complex, 200 School Street, Putnam, CT. Election Day Registration place for District #1 & #2: Putnam Municipal Complex, 200 School Street, Conference Room 201, Putnam, CT. Optical voting machines will be used.

At the October 18, 2023, meeting of the Pomfret Planning & Zoning Commission, the following legal action(s) were taken:
1. Vivianna St. Jean, 239 Kearney Road, special permit Home Occupation 1, cottage license for baked goods. APPROVED with conditions: correct the square footage of the baking area on the application and to have no retail sales.
2. Adam Lessard, 54 Jericho Road, special permit for a 30’x60’ garage/carport on slab. APPROVED: with five (5) conditions.
