THOMPSON --- The Thompson Public Library’s Art @ the Library and the Display Case exhibit, the 4th Annual Textile Artists Community Show, has been extended through Jan. 27. Program sponsored by the Friends of the Library. Reception
PUTNAM --- An exhibit by Laura Salo, “The Year Through Quilts,” runs through March 30 at the Corridor Gallery in the Municipal Complex. An Opening Reception will be held at 7:30 p.m. Jan. 4 in the Gallery. The reception is free and open to the public. The show is sponsored by the Putnam Arts Council. ‘Don’t Dress for Dinner’

Food Drive
POMFRET --- HHelping Hands Food Drive will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Windham-Tolland 4-H Camp on Taft Pond Road. For the camp’s 70th year celebration, 4-H is partnering with UNFI, to collect at least 1,000 pounds of food to be donated to local food banks. You can drop food off curbside or come into the lodge and enjoy a cup of hot coffee or hot chocolate. Local businesses will be donating money towards our capital projects for each pound of food donated. www.4hcampct.org.
