4-H fund-raiser breaks record
POMFRET — At the Windham County 4-H  Foundation meeting on May 16, board members learned that their efforts over the past month were not in vain.  The annual fund-raising auction and tag sale brought in the largest amount of funds ever.  All money raised go to defray operating costs which helps  the Foundation with its goal of keeping camp tuition levels as low as possible so that its “unplugged” summer camp experience will be available to more children.  The camp season begins June 26 and runs through Aug. 19 this year.  Check out the website, www.4hcampct.org for information and online registration forms.
