The Marianapolis wrestling team traveled to Moses Brown at the end of February for the SENE championships. After beating Hyde in the semifinals 42-36, the Golden Knights earned a victory over Moses Brown to earn the title of “SENE Champion.”
This was the second SENE Championship for Marianapolis as the Golden Knights won the league title in 2006. Senior Ryan Lee’s victory against Hyde secured the win for MPS as he battled hard from start to finish.
Against Moses Brown, the Knights also won by the difference of just one match to secure the league title.
It was the final match of the season for Marianapolis capping off a winning season.
