PUTNAM --- Due to the potential isolated incidence of metal fragments in the product, the Price Chopper Supermarket in Putnam is voluntarily recalling 59lbs. of the following singular sized package of 80% fresh ground beef with a sell-by date of May 31, 2010: UPC 211638910702 - (80% Lean Ground Beef “Savings Pack” of 3lbs. or more). *No other sizes or varieties of ground beef are included in this recall.*
Customers are encouraged to return any 80% lean ground beef “Savings Pack” dated 5/31/10 that was purchased from the Price Chopper Supermarket in Putnam, CT on 5/30/10 to the store for a full refund.
