heads to
Division 1

PUTNAM --- Putnam Science Academy’s men’s basketball coach Tom Espinosa has announced that TaQuan Zimmerman will be heading to Division 1 Long Island University next year.
Zimmerman attended Putnam Science Academy for a year and had the most memorable season in school history, where he averaged 28 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists per game.
Zimmerman picked Long Island University over CCSU, Sacred Heart, AIC and New Haven.
Zimmerman will sit out his first year at LIU and will have four years of eligibility after that.
