THOMPSON --- Marianapolis held its 31st Annual Golf Tournament on Sept. 22, raising more than $30,000.
In total, 144 golfers—parents, alumni, students, faculty, staff, area businessmen and friends—teed off on a glorious late summer day at the Raceway Golf Course in Thompson.
Besides a full round of golf, participants enjoyed on course contests, raffles, refreshments, lunch, and dinner.
The day wrapped up with prizes, an auction and raffle and a banquet in the country club restaurant.
More than $30,000 was raised for scholarships for local students pursuing a Marianapolis education.
The winning teams in the best ball format tournament were:
1st Place Men’s Team Winners: Jim West, Ron Coderre, Bob Mercier and Joe Voccio
1st Place Women’s Team Winners: Rene Kujawski, Sharon O’Brien, Kathy Nowicki and Audrey Becker
