PUTNAM --- Peter J. Pezanko of Putnam has been elected Connecticut state director of the New England Water Works Association, the region’s largest organization of water works professionals.
Pezanko has worked in the water works profession for more than 33 years. His career began in 1977, when he was hired by the Crystal Water Company in Danielson to work in water system operations and maintenance. He is active in his hometown of Putnam and is a long-time member of the Putnam Water Pollution Control Authority and Putnam Recreation Department as well as an assistant coach for his grandsons, T.J. and Tyler in the Danielson Little League. He and his wife, Mary Ann, have 3 children: Dana, Kera, and Sara.
Pezanko is currently employed by The Connecticut Water Company, which acquired the Crystal Water Company in 1999. While working at Connecticut Water, Pezanko has held a number of leadership positions, and is currently the superintendent of CWC’s Crystal and Mansfield divisions and is responsible for overseeing the operation, management, and maintenance of both divisions.
