Help still needed
WOODSTOCK --- First Selectman Allan Walker, made an appeal for increased community support for the Woodstock Fuel Drive this week. According to TEEG, Woodstock residents seeking fuel assistance funds will only be able to draw from the Woodstock Fuel funds at this time. Walker said, "Unfortunately, at the moment, the “Joe for Oil” and Operation Fuel monies have been depleted. Residents are urged to continue their generous support of the Woodstock Food and Fuel Program to help their neighbors get through the heating season and beyond. I am very proud of Woodstock’s commitment to helping others, and I know that together we can positively impact the quality of life for lots of local people.”
Please stop by the First Selectman’s Office at the Woodstock Town Hall to donate a few dollars to help a neighbor stay warm this winter, drop off a bag of non-perishable groceries, or to learn about all the services that TEEG can offer families in need.
