PUTNAM --- The Putnam Police and PRIDE Coalition will take part in the second nationwide DEA Prescription Drug Take-back from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Riverview Marketplace on Kennedy Drive. Potentially dangerous, expired, unused and unwanted prescription drugs will be collected for destruction.

History Meeting
PUTNAM --- The Aspinock Historical Society of Putnam will hold its annual meeting and history program at 2 p.m. at the Town Hall in the selectman's chamber (handicapped accessible).  Some students of Jeanne Benoit will present their history research projects.  One group will report on the naming of the road to the middle and elementary schools, and what they had to do.  The others are surprise topics.  Light refreshments follow.
