Funds Raised
The QVCC Foundation’s 3rd Annual Spelling Bee raised $15,000 for the students of QVCC. The team from Pomfret school took first place, top, Web Industries placed second and the Jewett City Juggernauts came in third. The most spirited award went to the crew from the Danielson Rotary, which had more than 20 members in attendance. Once again, the Gerardi Insurance team won for best costume with their representation of the “Mayhem guy” from the Allstate commercials, above. Courtesy photo.
